Check your Gift Aid donor list

Free. Open a CSV of your donations and we'll check it against HMRC's rules for the schedule spreadsheet: title and name lengths, postcodes, dates, amounts, aggregating small donations (only within the same accounting period) and the 1,000-line limit. Your list stays on your computer: it isn't uploaded anywhere.
Your charity's accounting year ends on (the date you prepare accounts to, or 5 April if it was set up by a trust deed or will, or outside the UK, as GOV.UK explains). Small donations are only combined within the same accounting period.

Don't include in aggregated lines any donations linked to admission to a charity visitor attraction: GOV.UK says those can't be combined, and this checker can't tell which they are.

This checks the format of your list. It doesn't decide whether a Gift Aid declaration is valid and doesn't submit anything to HMRC: you claim through Charities Online yourself. HMRC warns that copying and pasting into its spreadsheet can cause errors, so read its guidance before you enter the rows. Check the figures before you submit your claim. It isn't tax, accounting or legal advice.
